myDRIVESCHOOL® can be used by NDIS participants as an Assistive Technology for specialised driver training or an assistive product for personal care and safety, and can be claimed via Core Support package. The program can be used as both an assessment and training tool to help people with varying abilities to achieve mobility goals in a safe & controlled environment. myDRIVESCHOOL® can be used by specialist trainers, occupational therapists (OT’s), assessors and other allied health professionals to assist NDIS participants achieve their driving goals.

Assist with Goals and Outcomes

myDRIVESCHOOL® can be used for NDIS participants to assist them with their goals and outcomes. Driving is a reasonable and necessary skill to participants choice, independence and control.

myDRIVESCHOOL® identified as Core Supports

These programs are identified as Core Supports – and used to assist with daily activities and community participation. Funding may be used flexibly between supports for the following purposes. Funding for assistive technology: $1500 is allocated for the purchase of basic (Level 1) and standard (Level 2) assistive technology to support participants to achieve their goals and outcomes.
